About the Twenty Twenty-One WordPress theme.
Released with WordPress 5.6 in December 2020, Twenty Twenty-One is WordPress’s last classic default theme. Built around simplicity and flexibility, it combines the Customizer with the creative freedom of the block editor, providing a clean canvas for blogs, portfolios, business websites, and more.
The theme was developed by a team of WordPress contributors led by Carolina Nymark and designed by Mel Choyce-Dwan.
